This was my first attempt at a 3d architectural concept drawing. The goal was to see if living space above the garage could be used to help make the garage less prominent. I took some ideas from the Greene and Greene Gamble house in Pasadena, CA (like the tall walls, shallow pitch rooves, and wide eaves). It needs something more to break up those tall walls - perhaps a belly band or a bump out. We will not be adding a second story, but I still like my drawing ;-)
