Loooong week...

Darren had to go to Toronto this week for a conference so I've been at home with Devon and the dogs. Devon decided that since dad was gone this would be a good week to get the flu and run a fever of about 104 (although it went as high as 106). We ended up going to visit the doctor and get a check-up and found out it was just the flu (no pneumonia, ear infections, or strep throat) all worries for Mama (and Dad). Since his fever was usually still about 101 or 102 with baby Tylenol he spent much of the week cuddled up on my lap watching Bob the Builder & Baby Einstein - which worked out well for me since I'm not feeling well either. Darren gets back tonight (weather permitting) and we are both on the mend so it should be a good homecoming.

While feeling down and sorry for my sad luck I was reading a friends web page Angela Draper and realized how glad I am that Darren only has to be gone a week. I really don't like him to be gone and become quite the hermit so if he ever had to be gone longer I'm not sure what I would do. You are an inspiration Ang. I don't know how you do it. We will be "so glad when Daddy comes home"!!!

I hope you all are feeling

I hope you all are feeling well and are back together again. As you mentioned, I know that it's not fun to be apart. But when I get down, I can always find lots of people around here who are apart a lot longer. But the fact remains, it's just so much better when your hubby's home! :)
